Adiós Élder Barton
Hellllooooo everyone, what's going on? Don't have a lot of time to write today so I'll throw down some highlights of the week.
I'm actually just gonna go to THE highlight of the week haha... the baptism of Sergio and Fernanda!!! They are investigators of the other elders and they are amazing! The baptism happened on Saturday night and it was incredible! Elder Barlow and I got to be the witnesses of the baptism to make sure it was done right and it was amazing being there right next to the font when they were baptized. The spirit was so strong there and we had 2 investigators who came and were absolutely blown away by how they felt after seeing it! One of them (Orlando) wants to be baptized now haha, and the other is Marcia who we're still working with, but she said that she felt the spirit so strongly there! #bautismo #milagros
Overall, kind of a normal week! I haven't written in my journal for a while now haha but don't worry! That's one of my goals this transfer; I'm gonna write in it everyday! I know my mom will be proud of me for that one haha. Also, on Saturday night we got transfer calls and Elder Barton is going to Hospitalet! I'm super sad to see him go, but to take his place Elder Jones is coming! He was with me down in Catarroja/Gandía so I'm suoer hyped! It'll be a good new transfer.
Today for preparation day, we went to an indoor gym to play a game called Padel. It's kinda like an upgraded version of pickleball! It was super fun haha and we brought Sergio with us and he wrecked us haha! He's a pro.
