Group Email:
La semana de los testigos
Hello everyone! How are you all doing? This week was kinda boring mostly for me, but there were some interesting parts too! I'm sad to hear that Utah is being dumb and that it is still not snowing!! Utah weather... What can you do?

Miércoles: This morning our first contact was a Jehovah's Witness, which was kinda weird but he seemed really interested in our message so we set a visit with him for that night and left because we had to catch a bus to Oliva (one of the town's on the outskirts of our area). In Oliva we were trying to get in contact with a bunch of the members there and try to meet them and get to know them! But most of the addresses we went to were wrong and we got a bunch of doors slammed in our faces which was fun! We also ran into some more Jehovah's Witnesses there, and oh man... they are so rude and annoying haha! They rely on their own knowledge of the Bible rather than relying on the spirit and a real testimony. Weirdys! We met with the other Testigo tonight and he brought his buddy with him... por qué?! His friend just tried to bible bash us all night, and was pretty much yelling at us, it was so fun haha! Before we left I ended up giving his companion a Book of Mormon haha!

Jueves: Yo what up YouTube?! Welcome to my channel! This morning I had breakfast burritos a made by the one and only Elder Hale!! And for lunch we went and got burgers with an ex-70 which was super cool! His name is Elder Viñes and he had a bunch of good ideas on how to help the members get more involved in the work here. We had a lesson with Ana María tonight at 9:30 about faith and she loved it!! She is the mother of a less active member and she is so receptive to our message, it's great.

Viernes: Today our first visit canceled on us, so we had to make a bunch of phone calls and contact instead and I was feeling super tired and out of it. But then Elder Hale bought me a muffin so I felt much better! Today we had another lesson with the 2 Testigos de Jehová and we left them with the invitation to read and pray about the book of Mormon. Tonight we had a visit with Joaquin and his family and gave them the do-or-die to come to church or we will have to drop them. I guess we will see what happens.

Sábado: We ended today with a great lesson to María Herrera about why we need Jesus Christ in our lives and we shower Gracias a Él (seriously my favorite video) and read 2 Nephi 2:5-9 #straightfire. It was super good, the spirit was so strong in the room.

Domingo: Today was Sunday and nothing super exciting happened except we got pallea from a member (idk if I'm spelling it right..) which is pretty much rice, with a bunch of seasoning and meat and it was so good! I was in heaven.

Lunes (today): Today for pday we went to a city north of us called Cullera I think, and hiked up to a Catholic church and then ate McDonald's after! It was so good. Then we went back to our piso and took a nap. It's been a good pday.

I hope you all have an amazing week, and get HYPED FOR CHRISTMAS!!! I know you all bought me stuff so I can't wait to be getting it from Santa on Monday! Just kidding.

Excerpts from Mom letter:
Light the world is probably the only thing people really are interested in here haha!, it's a great conversation starter! Some people want to talk to us, but a lot of the time it's to tell us were wrong! Oh well, they'll find out eventually.

(*Note: Sister Jenkins mom Chris, know a person whose husband was going to Barcelona on business. She offered to have her husband bring Sister Jenkins a package. Chris asked if he could also bring one to Noah!!! WHAT!!! That is one of the nicest things anyone could do for a missionary mom! People are so thoughtful. I am constantly being taught how to be a better person.)....
Haha people are so nice!  It's such a good idea to send packages with people! Much more convenient than sending it in the mail! And yes! That picture is my apartment building! I'm on the 5th floor in the front in the picture! (*Note: Grandpa Keith showed me where Noah's apartment is on google maps!)

And yes I have gotten so many emails from ward members it's crazy haha. And so awesome!!!   ....

Love you,
Elder Johnson
