Beach Day
Hey everybody!! How are you all doing? Is anybody married yet? Probably. I'm not, just in case anyone was wondering.
Wednesday was a good day. We started off with some door knocking which I thought was kinda fun! And then we had lunch with the bishop! And he fed us the best pasta ever!! I'm gonna get so fat here... Then we went back out to knock some more doors and got 2 new investigators! So that was cool. And then tonight before we taught English class, we got burros #blessed.
Thursday. We had weekly planning today which is always kinda long and boring, but I guess it's necessary. We had some chicken for lunch that a member made us.. oh man it was solo good!! Then my comp and I went and knocked some doors and met a Romanian family and used Google translate to talk to them haha, it was interesting. Then we had Noche de Barrio, which is like a family night ward thing. But only 4 people showed up, so we ate pizza and played uno.
Friday. Today all our investigators cancelled on us... so that was fun! Not. We visited a member who has cancer and gave her a spiritual thought and she gave us hot chocolate and cookies... it was a fair trade. Then we had choir practice for a stake concert we have on Saturday, and I get to play the guitar in it so that's sick! I'm super hyped because I get to play Hallelujah and it's such a sick song.
Saturday. Oh my today was long... We went to Valencia this morning to get everything ready for the concert which was a long tip because it takes us like 2 hours to get there. But it was so cool to see all the people and missionaries in the stake that I don't know. So many people came to the concert it was crazy!! Our ward sang 2 songs and did super good! Plus I got to play guitar in Hallelujah, so I had a good night. Also there was a super good Spanish band who performed at the end and there was a guy just ripping out a sweet solo on the guitar... I was in love. And after the concert, Santa came out and literally chucked candy at us haha it kinda hurt. And then when everyone was leaving, they played dubstep remixes of Christmas songs on the speakers, so naturally all the missionaries started dancing. It was super fun.
Sunday. Today was pretty uneventful and we had to speak only Spanish all day which was kinda rough, but oh well haha. Tonight we are spending the night with some elders in Valencia for zone conference tomorrow.. It's gonna be a long night.
Monday. Zone conference was super good!! I learned a lot and we got some way good food. Also this morning before we went to the chapel, one of the elders had the Ab Ripper p90x video, so now I have it haha! I'm pretty happy about that. Today I also got my Christmas package from my mom and I'm super hyped!! I don't know if I'll be able to wait until Christmas to open it... sorry mom.
Tuesday (today). Today is pday and our zone decided to go to the beach in Valencia it was worth it. We ate cereal, hung out, sang songs and then played ultimate frisbee in the rain! It was a good pday.
I love you all and hope you are doing well. Keep shredding and keep me updated on snow in utah!!
