Hello family how is life allí in the USA? This week was good, but first off I gotta give a shoutout to the youngest looking 48 (28) year old in the world!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMASITA JOHNSON!! I hope you have an amazing day and that dad buys you some good toblerone! Also LJ (NOTE: Jake) had better be making his famous brownies with his 1 good arm for you or else I'm gonna take out his other arm!😉
First off, let me just say that God will give us miracles when we put in the work. When we show him our faith and our willingness to confirm to his will, he will bless us. These last couple weeks in Vitoria have been tough haha with a lot of rain contacting and fired visits. But we've gone out everyday with the attitude that there are some of God's children waiting for us to bring them this message. There are people here who are ready to be baptized. Right now we have 5 of our friends preparing for baptism on May 5th and they are incredible! They are Marcia, Héctor, Carlos, Juan Carlos, and Luz Stella.
Something we do as missionaries is set a TON of goals. Personal goals, companionship goals, number goals, investigator goals, etc... It's important that we are constantly setting goals and then reviewing our progress with them! Y'all should go read "Return and Receive" by M Russell Ballard! It's some good stuff.
Keep me posted on the NBA playoffs, I'm dying to know how its going hahaha!
