Hi guys, it's me! Elder Johnson! You're most attractive and ripped son!
How are y'all doing this fine Monday?
Probably not gonna send a group email this week cause I don't wanna write it out hahaha, but this is good enough right?
Wow, this week has been a blur! After 9 hours in train on Tuesday I was wiped out on Wednesday, but we had a super good day. We had a great lesson with a man named Hector in bar (my first lesson taught in a bar haha, interesting). Wow, he was super good and the spirit was so strong there! I already feel comfortable teaching with Elder Barlow and we've only been together for 6 days. #miraclesarereal! But for real it's been incredible. It's actually been kind of a hard week just because it has rained every day and it's hard to get people to stop and talk to you in thenstreetnwhen it's raining! But I've been trying a new way of contacting that's has been working out decently. I just go up holding the restoration pamphlet in my hand, introduce us and pretty much instantly testify about the restoration! It's worked decently well haha so I definitely have room to improve! If any one has got any fun contacting ideas, throw them my way!
Also this week I have drank more mate than I have in my entire missions haha! Every night we drink tereré which is pretty much iced mate with some lemon juice and sugar... its actually super good haha! I bought my own mate guampa (The cup) and bombilla (The straw) today so now I'm pretty much a native south American haha. Not much is new here, just throwing down in the streets everyday with Elder Barlow!
The time has actually flown by and it's kinda scary haha! It's made me realize just how precious our time in our areas and in our missions really is!
This week I've been studying a lot about faith and power through faith. It's a crazy deep topic hahaah, y'all should go read Lectures on Faith! It'll hurt your brain a little.
Love y'all and hope all is well in Utah (except for jakes collarbone... bummer)

Dylan and Noah having an email convo about the drink mate:
D: Scrub maté is nasty
N: Im addicted to it
D: Bruh it tastes like dirt and grass mixed
N: Bro I know but that cultural part of it has got me hooked. We've had so many visits from people just from talking about mate with them haha it's a good conversation starter
D: I'm all about that just talking about the weather.. It's better than having to drink dirt to talk to people... but you do you man
Gina: I am laughing at your talk about mate the drink. Hilarious. I love it Noah that you bought a cup and straw so that you are like a true native Spaniard!
