Transfer Week...

Holar! Cómo estar? Wow this week flew by way too fast! And... I kinda forgot to write in my journal but I'll throw down a quick summary of all that happened this week.

On Tuesday we had district meeting in Gandía and we had some super good teachings by Hermana Orr, Hermana Lust, and Elder Jones. And then after, we stayed in the church and cooked German pancakes and fajitas to eat! Best district meeting for sure.
Then on Thursday we met with a woman that we had called from our area book who had been taught by missionaries a few years ago. We called her, set a visit, we talked about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon, and in the end she accepted the invitation to be baptized on May 5th! ... the Lord prepares people I guess haha

Not much happened on Friday, but Saturday was a good day. At 6pm we were able to watch General Conference which was so good! I love listening to the prophet and his apostles speak and give us counsel and advice! And then after that, at 8pm, we were blessed to see the baptism of an investigator of the Hermanas, Cristina! (Question from the mom: Age? Family? Noah's answer: She is 35 years old and isn't married or anything.) It was incredible to see someone enter into a covenant with God and feel the spirit that was there. Milagros. And then on Saturday night... We got TRANSFER CALLS. And I found out that I'm going up north to Vitoria!! I'm so stoked haha, I literally wanted to go up north so bad! Prayers are answered. I leave Tuesday morning at 7:25 and I will get there to meet my new companion, Elder Barlow, at 5pm. Gonna be a long day.
Then on Sunday we literally watched conference all day which was super lit haha, my brain was fried from that spiritual powerhouse.
On Monday we went and visited Hermana Fifi, Carlos y Jennifer, José, Nasko y Desi, Hermana Rosa and Alejandro, and Quino and his family to say goodbye. It was a little sad to say goodbye, but I'm so grateful for the time I've had in Gandía to get to know all of these people and to serve them. It feels like just yesterday I got to Gandía and now I'm leaving and I'll be hitting 6 months in the mish in about a week and a half. Crazy how time flies when you're having fun. Also on Monday night we went to Catarroja to spend the night there because it's closer to the train station. And since we got there late, we had to run like a mile and a half with my suitcases... gotta love the mission.

Talk to y'all next week from Vitoria!

Family Email:
Hello my dearest familia!! Wow, it is getting harder to write in English every day I swear haha! I think that's a good sign, right? Eh, no pasa nada. Well just so you know I have been transferred!!! I am going from the farthest south in the mission to one of the farthest north! I'm going to Vitoria to serve with Elder Barlow! I'm super hyped! I've actually heard that he only has like 2 transfers left in the mission so I could be the one to kill him (The one who sends him home) which will be weird! But wow, I am so excited to be going to the north, that is seriously what I was praying for (or the islands, but hey! I've still got time for that!) But for real. I am so incredibly grateful for the time I have had in Gandía to grow and to learn as a missionary and just as a person. I have learned so much from the members, from the people, and from Elder Hale and Elder Cantos! It's been a ride in Gandía.
I am now writing this email in the train to Vitoria. I've already come 3 hours in train from Valencia to Barcelona, and now I have another 5 hours until Vitoria... I am gonna be wiped out haha!
I'm sad to leave Gandía but I know Elder Cantos will look after it well!  He has taught me a lot of good things. He's helped me with Spanish a ton and his faith is incredible! He was converted 2 years ago and has a year and 3 months in the mission!! He's really a good man.
I think I kinda understand now why people say to learn everything you can from your companions: you learn and put into practice all the things you like and admire. Crazy stuff brotha.
How's the weather in Utah? Is jakes lacrosse doing well? Is he a superstar? I hope so. Bummer to hear that the winter is pretty much dying... maybe there will be snow up north here in Spain! I hope so haha!!

I love y'all and hope you enjoyed conference. So amazing that we have the opportunity to listen to God's prophets and apostles speak to us and help us move this work forward. #blest

I was able to email a bit with Noah and asked him if he knew anything about his new comp:
We're sitting in the chapel in Vitoria writing emails now haha. My new companion is from Utah and plays basketball so I think we're gonna get along just fine haha
