Friends with benefits...

Hola! How are y'all doing? I don't know why I used y'all there but eh, it's ok.

Martes:
Vale pues, hoy yo tuve un intercambio con Elder Beasley en Gandía. Fue interesante porque todas de nuestras visitas didn't work. It was super rough haha. Then at 4 we went up to Catarroja because my como went to Barcelona to renew his residency and we couldn't leave Elder Astorga alone haha. We did some contacting up there and then slept in their piso for the night. Also, tonight we were knocking doors and a lady opened the door and guess what commercial was on tv... STAR WARS. It looked so good, I can't wait to see it in 2 haha.

Miércoles:
Hoy, yo estaba en Catarroja con Elderes Beasley y Astorga. Tuvimos un dia muy bueno y siento que yo aprendí más de contactando aquí que en Gandía. Super good. Also today we had some really good pasta for lunch so it was a good day.

Jueves:
Hoy tuvimos la reunión de distrito y nuestro líder de zona, Elder Stephenson, estaba allí. También, tuvimos un intercambio con él y fue super bueno. I learned nor about how to contact in the last 2 days than in the last 5 week haha.. nice. Also we visited a part member family tonight and their son (Jefferson) was playing Clash of Clans so you already know I talked to him about that.

Viernes:
Today the Rhodes came by to help us clean our piso... AGAIN. Man cleaning is so boring. We cleaned our piso for 3.5 hours today and then had weekly planning.. It was a rough morning. This whole day i just felt kinda down and discouraged which was weird cause yesterday was super good. I realized that sometimes after I have a good day and feel like I'm progressing super well, Satan tries to pull me back down and I get thoughts like I'm not good enough or whatever. I realized that I don't need to let him pull me down, so the rest of the day I just tried to be happy and talk to as many people as i could. #eatthatsatan #eatdirt

Sábado:
Today we did a lot of Pass bys of members and old investigators but a lot of them weren't home, so we did a lot of contacting haha. Then we made pizza for lunch #yeahimfat, sowhat? We had a lot of good conversations today and I feel good about it. And now I am eating a bowl of granola and a yogurt. Life is good, food is better, God is best.

Domingo:
Today was interesting and long haha. We had church and ward counsel which was much needed and we actually got s lot done there. I'm excited to see how it goes. We did some more pass bys today and stopped by an old lady named Consuelo. She asked us to marry her grand daughters which was a nice offer, but we declined. Then later tonight, we were confirming a visit that we have tomorrow with a man in Oliva and got an interesting response from him. Apparently he didn't know that we were going to visit him to teach him the gospel... He saw it as a "friends with benefits" meetup... don't worry were not meeting with him anymore.

Lunes:
This morning we did 2 more hours of area book which is rough but we need it and I can definitely see how it'll help us when we get it together. Then we literally knocked doors and contacted all day long. It was so fun haha we talked to tons of people and got rejected by a ton too. And also, we are redrawing our area lines... And that means giving the Hermanas 5 out of our 7 progressing investigators which is rough. Now I'm just chilling in my star wars pajamas, in my beanie and sunglasses drinking a coke. The mission life isn't too bad.

I love you all and hope the holidays were good!! I'm gonna quote a song that I think is super good and that Jake Lamp sent me after he left.

"God is great, beer is good, people are crazy."
You're welcome, I hope you are all enlightened now.

Elder Johnson

Excerpt from family letter: Nothing happened with transfers for me or my comp so were all good down here!  The Bulgarian family decided to get baptized in Bulgaria when they return in the summer but they want to keep taking lessons from us so I think it will be really good for them.
