Dr. Pepper....

Hello outside world! How's the weather out there? Haha thanks to all of you who read my letters every week to see if I'm maturing at all or not... I can't tell. I still feel like Dirty Noah haha! Except with Elder instead of Dirty.

Martes: We had district meeting today which was good! Then after we went and got pizza because, DUH, it's pizza Tuesday!! Then we visited a couple members which was good and our last 2 visits fired on us, which was a bummer.. But todo bien.

Miércoles: Today was long. But this morning was good because I got a huge box of food from my parents with cereal, cookies and soda haha!! I can't wait to be the chubbiest elder out here. Then we went to Oliva (a pueblo south of us) and had a long day of slammed doors and rejections in the street. It was super fun haha. Then we came back to Gandía to finish off the day and had some pretty good contacts that were gonna try to meet with later this week! Vamos a ver.

Jueves: Bro it's February... weird. The months are flying by! I don't really remember anything important from today except that it rained all day long!! It was super cold too, which was weird. Then we had an intercambio and Elder Jones came doen to Gandía and while we were walking back to piso it started pouring rain. So i was soaking wet because i forgot my coat.. fun stuff!

Viernes: Oh man. If I could sum up today in one word, it would be BUMMER. We had a ton of super good visits set up that I was gonna take the lead on, and all of them fired. It was also raining all day again. But don't worry, I had my coat this time! Also Elder Jones is super good and gave me some good tips on how to improve my Spanish. He taught me something super good too! "Its easy to love the people who love you and treat you well. But it's CHRISTLIKE LOVE to love the people who hate you, are rude to you and slam doors in your face (aka Spaniards).

Sábado: Bruh this week has been hard! We have had maybe 1 actual visit this week. Haha but everyone has their agency so it's all good. We've been doing a ton of contacting, phone calls and door knocking all week and today was about the same. We had some good visits set, but they all cancelled. It was tough. This is literally the most tired I've ever been haha... But the little miracles we see every day make it worth it.

Domingo: Today was dece! We had consejo de barrio after church today and it was super good! Our new bishop is so good and I can tell this ward will take off with him!! Then we had a bunch of visits set up, but they all fired haha. There's a common theme going on this week. But we met a man named Pedro who is super good when we were knocking a building with like 40 doors, so we're excited about that. We set a visit with him for this friday! Its crazy that in 2 weeks, my training will be over... I still feel like a noob.

PDAY: Today was good for one reason. I FINALLY FOUND SOME DR PEPPER. We went to a store called Taste of America, and there it was... like the goblet of fire just waiting for me to put my paper in it. So I bought it. It was a good day.

Love you all and hope all is snowy and cold in Utah and wherever else you are!

Questions for Noah:
Q: When you have zone conference does your mission pres come out or no? Anyone from the office come out?
A: Yeah every zone conf, President Dayton and his wife come out! It's super fun! Both the ayudantes come out too (assistants to the president).

Q: What kinds of food are you cooking for yourselves in your apartment? (What kind of recipes do you want)?  What kinds of food do you buy at the grocery store?
A: Most of the time for food, we just do cereal, sandwiches, eggs, or pasta! But I would love a pancake recipe or just something easy to make for breakfast!

Q: Do you guys do service in your area? If so, what kind?
A: Right now we don't do a ton of service in our area just because no one wants us hahaha, but we helped a woman move out of her house a couple weeks ago!

Q: I forget...Is there an underground metro in your area or you just use buses?
A: For my area, there's an above ground metro to go up to Valencia (pday or zone conference) and buses to go to some of the other pueblos, but we mostly just walk everywhere!

Q: Do you ever hear anything about Catalan separating anymore? Is there still a lot of talk about that or has it quieted down? We don't hear about it anymore.
A: And about Cataluña, I don't really hear anything anymore! I feel like it's died down a lot.

Noah's response (smarty pants) to Dylan's family challenge to our Utah contingency to read the scriptures together every night for 7 days and look for missionary opportunities...

I've been looking for missionary opportunities lately, and the weirdest thing happened... I woke up and I was a missionary!! Praying really works! Definitely the craziest answer to a prayer I've ever received!
