Hi y'all people de mi hogar
I don't have a ton of time to email this week so I probably won't write a group email but that's alright haha. How are all of you doing? This week was pretty tough for us but really good too. We had zone conference on Wednesday and Thursday and so we stayed with the Valencia 2 elders. One of the nights with those elders, we ate some of the hottest hot sauce I've ever had in my life haha. I thought I was gonna die haha it was so fun. Right when I ate it, it felt like my head exploded. My tongue was raw the next day... worth it. Also, three of our investigators called us and told us not to stop by again so that was no good and we had to drop 2 more because they aren't progressing. So this week has been a contacting week. But that's ok because I seriously love contacting people and I'm getting better at just starting a conversation on the most random thing. Yesterday, I tried stopping a woman and she saw our name tags and tried to hurry past us, but then I just asked her what her favorite restaurant was in GandĂa. Then she stopped and we ended up talking to her about how families can be together forever. Haha i love it. Then yesterday.... we ate PAELLA. Oh my goodness, it is soooooo good! This week was super fun and hard at the same time, but thats why i love it so much! I love you all so much, and don't worry. I will continue to pray for the Jazz
Have an amazing week!!
Questions for Noah:
Q: How are your neighbors? Do you know any of them? Are they families or students or??
A: My neighbors are mostly older people, but every time we see them they're super nice! During Chrsitmas we sang them all Christmas carols which I think helped them to like us more haha. We haven't tried introducing them the gospel yet, but we'll see soon enough.
Q: What is your favorite meal made by members so far??
A: My favorite meal is by far, the PAELLA!! Oh my goodness it is soooooo good. And the old lady who we eat it with is an expert at it. It's rice with chicken, veggies, and shrimp. SO GOOD.
Q: Are your clothes still taking forever to dry?
A: I usually do my laundry in the morning, so when we go in for lunch I can hang them up to dry. They're usually dry by the night or the next morning, so not too bad for me.
Q: What are some of the differences btw the teenagers there and here at home? Do they play school sports or play instruments? Do many of the kids go to college?
A: The teenagers here smoke more haha. And they all like fĂștbol. I'd say most of them play sports over instruments, no one here is very musically inclined haha. And I'm not sure about college... I'll have to get back to you on that one.
