Girl Advice
Hello my fans. How are all of you doing? I bet you're all great now that I'm not there. You're welcome.
I forgot my journal afain this week to email so I'll just tell y'all about a couple experience from this week.
First off, Tuesday was LJs birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY LJ!!! Show him some love por favor. And we had a super good first visit with a man named william who is super religious and wants to help his daughter grow her faith. He sounds like a great investigator right? Wrong. We visited him again on Wednesday and taught the restoration and it turned into a rage fest about whether Joseph Smith was a prophet or not. It was rough and I don't think he likes us very much anymore. Oh well, I think we won the argument at least haha.
The rest of the week was kinda a blur but on Sunday, Juan came to church again (the crazy guy from last week) and a man named Rafa who is an ex Jehovah's Witness bore his testimony about life after death to him. And then he started to cry and the spirit was soooooo strong. It was super cool. Even Jehovah's witnesses can be converted to the gospel. Anything is possible with faith in Christ. #believedude
Then later at church, some old ladies who just randomly showed up at church started to give me some much needed girl advice. I've definitely been struggling with the girls lately so I needed it. They pretty much just told me that young girls are trouble and to stay away from them hahaha (they said that while pointing to the hermana missionaries hahaha) it was super fun.
Then today for pday, we went up to Valencia and played a huge game of ultimate frisbee with our zone. It was super fun and we had a little game of fĂștbol after. We took a ton of pictures but i don't have any of them, so when I get them I will send them (sorry mom).
The work is hard, but its the best work that there is. I love it here and I love the people. There's nowhere else I'd rather be.
Love you all,
Elder Johnson
Me looking snazzy
